Bio

With 5 published albums and concerts both nationally and internationally, Sophie Chassée has gained an established reputation in recent years, especially in the Modern Fingerstyle Guitar scene.
In her last album Attachment Theory, released in September 2024, she opens up her heart and puts together all the musical parts she is made up of: Fingerstyle Guitar meeting Acoustic Folk Pop combined with Songwriter elements. 
Her music, influenced by artists like Colbie Caillat, Ben Howard and John Mayer, features English lyrics that reflect on lost love, life's changes and personal stories.
In addition to her solo work, Chassée has collaborated with renowned guitarists such as Jon Gomm and Joscho Stephan. During the production of her studio albums, she also had the opportunity to work with notable producers Peter “Jem” Seifert and Peter Finger.  
Since 2018 she has acted as the live bassist of several German bands such as Alli Neumann and Blumengarten.
Becoming their bassist in 2022, she has since been touring with AnnenMayKantereit in sold-out venues all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland. 
In 2025 she had the chance to serve as the guitarist and sub-bassist of the well-known Heavytones in several TV appearances.
